Shahid Kapoor’s character, in the trailer, receives a phone call from Ronit Roy. He orders him to return the bag full of drug, he stole from him. Ronit appears to be a drug lord who has kidnapped someone close to Shahid, possibly his daughter, and he has no choice but to return the bag in order for his daughter to be safe. And thus his path of non-stop violent action begins, and he is not about to spare anyone who gets in his way, even if that person is a police officer.
The trailer makes it abundantly clear that the film is about the mafia, drugs, cops, family, and plenty of violence, blood, and gore. The film is a remake of the French film Sleepless Night, which was also remade in Tamil as Thoongaa Vanam (2015). The principal character in the Tamil film was played by Kamal Haasan. Bloody Daddy is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and stars Sanjay Kapoor, Diana Penty, Ronit Roy, Rajeev Khandelwal, Ankur Bhatia, and Vivan Bhatena.
