Shahid Kapoor to Produce a war trilogy on Amish Tripathi’s book for Netflix
Shahid Kapoor is a busy man. As he wrapped up the shoot for the film Jersey along with the one with DC, we now hear he is also gearing up for an OTT based venture. He was supposed to be the part of the film Yoddha by Shashank Khaitan, but now has walked out from the movie at the last minute. He was seen talking about the movie a lot and it happens to be a remake of the movie Suraraj Pottru, which is a Ram Madhvani movie.
He is also the part of a big budget film by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra as directed by Karna. Now, we can see him becoming the part of a digital venture, which will be his debut either on Amazon Prime Video or for Netflix as well. As per the entertainment portal Bollywood Hungama reports, Shahid Kapoor has been paid a whopping 70 to 80 crore for a war based trilogy which he is going to work with. It will be a mythological war drama and is based on the novel of Amrish ripathi.
This will also mark his production venture in his career. As per reports, he has been waiting to embark upon his own production house. Shahid Kapoor is now kick starting his own production house and he is going to produce a biopic based on Dingko Singh. He has even signed a deal with streaming giant Netflix and one can even see a mutual agreement on this venture. It is expected to be a big budget film madea on the lines of Baahubali.
