Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Bollywood’s uncontested fashion queen, can pull off any look with ease. She rarely disappoints the fashion police with her sartorial choices, and she did not disappoint when she was recently seen in a cherry red Alexander McQueen dress at the inauguration of The Business of Fashion event in London.
Sonam looked stunning in a crimson knee-length dress with intricate, puffed sleeves, styled by Nikhil Mansata. Sonam posted some stunning photos to her Instagram account with the caption, ‘“Love and a red rose can’t be hid.” – Thomas Holcroft”, to this post, her father, actor Anil Kapoor, commented with heart emojis and wrote, ‘Fab pics’.
The black belt pinched the waist of the double-tiered dress with huge ruffles linked to the neckline. A pair of glossy black ankle-length boots and a crimson handbag completed the look.
Alexander McQueen’s Pre-Autumn/Winter 2021 collection includes a crimson ruffled dress with an exaggerated trapeze-line. Sonam wore her middle-parted hair tied back into a tidy ponytail and wore no make-up look.

Blind, a crime thriller directed by Shome Makhija and produced by Sujoy Ghosh, Avishek Ghosh, Hyunwoo Thomas Kim, Sachin Nahar, Pinkesh Nahar, and Manisha W, is Sonam’s next film. The film, which was shot in Glasgow, Scotland, is a remake of the same-named Korean film from 2011. It stars Purab Kohli, Vinay Pathak, and Lillete Dubey and revolves around a blind police officer on the hunt for a serial killer.
