As Shahid Kapoor is busy with his next film Jersey, the remake of yet another South Indian film, the fans are excited to see him back yet another hit in the B Town. However, the actor was on a bed rest for the injuries he has received while shooting for the film as the ball hit his lips and face getting him stitches. As per the latest, the actor has now headed to Chandigarh to resume the shoot.
As per reports, the actor is still not all well to resume the shoot yet he was spotted at the airport catching a flight to Chandigarh for the Jersey shoot. He also posted a few pictures of his journey. He then thanked his fans for their wishes and said that the injury still seems raw on his face, yet he is back on the shoot. Sources close to him said that Shahid is doing well and was hit by a ball on his lower lip while he was practicing the shots. Blood came out and he was immediately treated by getting the stitches.
Talking about the film it is a remake of a South Indian film with the same title. It is directed by the same filmmaker Gowtam Tinnanuri who has made the original film. The story of the film revolves around the life of a talented and failed cricketer called Arjun but he decides to return to the pitch in his late thirties just to fulfill the wish of his son. The film also has Mrunal Thakur in the lead role, while it is produced by Aman Gill and Dil Raju, while it is presented by Ally Aravind.
