Shahid Kapoor has been known in Bollywood to give some of the best movies. Though he has given more number of flops than the hits, yet the audience and critics have applauded the acting performance. As his movie, Haider is all set to hit the theatres soon, and Shahid agrees that it has been one of the most challenging movies. It has the potentials for garnering national awards for the same. However, according to Shahid, he does not work for awards or applauds.
According to the actor, expecting awards simply raise high expectations, which further lead to frustration if things do not work for the same. However, his recent past movies have been doing well over the box office, bet it R Rajkumar or the other one, the fact is Shahid is now in a secure zone. With Haider, he is certainly going to make his mark in Bollywood giving unconventional movies by playing exceptionally cool at the silver screen. The actors says that he simply want to focussed in his work rather than expecting or eyeing for National awards or some other similar awards. Haider is releasing on 2nd October along with Bang Bang, and it is based on a Shakespeare play called Othello.
