OMG: Karishma Tanna Once Lied About Her Height to get a TV Serial
In the small screen industry, Karishma Tanna remains the highest-paid divas. The leggy lass is also known for having a huge fan following on social media. She did her debut on the small screen in the TV show called Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi by Ekta Kapoor. Since then it was no looking back for her and now she is a big star in the TV Industry. She admired her lean figure and good height by many and she feels it’s her amazing height that has proved beneficial in her career.
In her recent interview with Pinkvilla, she revealed that she has lost many ventures due to her height as she seemed taller to the leading man of the show. She said that she has remained conscious about her height as every time she went for an audition she was rejected for having a greater height than the leading man. So, she started telling lies about her height and saying she was only 5′ 8, whereas she was 5′ 10, Karishma confessed in her interview.
Soon she started feeling that her height will not give her work but as the industry evolved with new trends and ideas, she was the first one to be chosen by the makers. She said she was inspired by the interview of Salman Khan when he said that the height of a girl is not a problem if she is talented. Talking about the same she said that she has apprehension about working with her height but gradually it went away. Talking about her work, she is in the Colors reality show called Khatron Ke Khiladi 10 and as per reports, she has won. The finale is yet to be showcased in the media.
