Shah Rukh Khan’s new ad wins fans’ hearts, remind of his blockbuster Chak De

Shah Rukh Khan has been out of the big screen after his last film Zero release in 2018. Recently the actor gave his fans something to rejoice about on Saturday as a new ad featuring the superstar went viral on social media. The commercial for the Hyundai Alcazar comes months after his son Aryan Khan was released on 30 October following an alleged drugs-related conviction.

SRK’s most recent appearance on screen was in a Cadbury’s Diwali-themed commercial launched in late October. When Aryan was in jail for 22-day jail, SRK was quite silent on social media.

The Hyundai commercial has been gaining popularity on social media not just because of SRK’s “comeback,” but also because of the celebrities that appear beside him, including cricketers Smriti Mandhana, Jemimah Rodrigues, Taniya Bhatia, and Shafali Verma.

While one of SRK’s most well-known jobs was coaching the women’s hockey team in Chak De! India, the commercial shows him taking a back seat to the cricketers even while he serves as chauffeur.

Recently it was reported that Shah Rukh Khan has begun filming for this highly awaited film, and there have been several rumours about the title and plot. Speculations abound that SRK’s film will be titled ‘Lion.’

The collaboration between Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee, produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, is expected to be an action-packed entertainment. In the film, SRK will play both a parent and a son. Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, and Sunil Grover will also play significant parts in ‘Lion.’
