Shah Rukh Khan’s 60th Birthday Bash: Karan Johar, Rani Mukerji Pose Together
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan celebrated his 60th birthday with close friends and family at his Alibaug residence, and his best friend, filmmaker Karan Johar, gave fans a sneak peek of the star-studded party. On Friday, Karan Johar took to Instagram Stories to share a selfie with actress Rani Mukerji from the celebration. Dressed in white, Karan was seen showering affection on Rani, planting a kiss on her cheek as they posed for the camera. Though Shah Rukh himself was not in the frame, the snapshot captured the joyous atmosphere of the evening.
In the background, Ananya Panday was spotted holding a drink and dancing enthusiastically. She looked radiant in a shimmering golden halter-neck dress. Captioning the post, Karan playfully wrote, “Guess the photo bomber?” Beyond Ananya, several other guests were seen enjoying the festivities, dancing and celebrating Shah Rukh’s milestone birthday.
Earlier, filmmaker Farah Khan also shared a heartfelt photo with Shah Rukh, hugging and kissing him on the cheek. The birthday bash was clearly a glamorous affair, with Shah Rukh’s close circle coming together to mark this special occasion. Outside his iconic Mumbai home, Mannat, fans gathered with banners and posters, hoping to catch a glimpse of the superstar. Shah Rukh traditionally waves to his fans from Mannat on his birthday every year, continuing the beloved ritual.
Upcoming Projects for Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar
Looking ahead, Shah Rukh Khan will star in Siddharth Anand’s King, sharing the screen with his daughter Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Saurabh Shukla. The film is currently in production.
Meanwhile, Karan Johar’s upcoming productions include Lakshya and Chand Mera Dil, featuring Ananya Panday, whose release dates are yet to be confirmed.
