Shah Rukh Khan, Jr NTR, and Ram Charan are vying for the lead role in “The Immortal Ashwatthama”?

Aditya Dhar’s highly awaited sci-fi fantasy film “The Immortal Ashwatthama” has been making waves since its announcement in 2021. The film was supposed to star Vicky Kaushal in the lead role and was being produced by Ronnie Screwvala’s production house ‘RSVP Movies,’ but it was later reported that he dropped the project, which was later brought back to life by Jio Studios, who also cast Ranveer Singh in the titular role and raised the film’s budget to over Rs. 600 crores.

According to the latest speculations, Jio Studios has discarded Ranveer Singh in favour of casting pan-India superstars in the major role. According to the newest ETimes story, Shah Rukh Khan, Jr NTR, and Ram Charan have all been approached for the role, with one of them anticipated to take on this huge project.

All three actors are currently the most bankable Indian performers and at the peak of their popularity with global star power. Jr. NTR and Ram Charan achieved worldwide prominence as a result of RRR’s worldwide appreciation. They became household names all over the world as a result of the film. And Shah Rukh Khan resurrected his career with Pathaan, making box office history in Bollywood.

The producers have yet to make an official statement, but the excitement for the film has already begun.

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is preparing for his two most anticipated films, Jawan and Dunki. Jawan, directed by Atlee Kumar, is an action film, whereas Dunki, directed by Rajkummar Hirani, is a social comedy.

Jr. NTR’s next film will be the Telugu action drama NTR30, in which he will share screen space for the first time with Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. He’s also getting ready to make his Bollywood debut in Yash Raj Films’ War 2, in which he’ll co-star with Hrithik Roshan.

Ram Charan is also preparing for a number of projects, including Game Changer, which will be directed by popular filmmaker Shankar. The film is set to be released in theatres in 2024.
