Shagufta Ali is a film and TV actress who hails from Mumbai. She was born on 7th April 1967 in Mumbai and was brought up in this city. She did her schooling and college from Mumbai itself, while after her education, she headed to the TV world to become an actress. She got the chance to act in small screen with the TV show called Dard in the year 1989, while in the same year she got her first film as well called Kanoon Apna Apna playing the character called Basanti.
The very next year she got another TV show known as Agar Aisa Ho To, followed by the film Indrajeet and then it was no looking back for the actress. Some of her TV shows in her early career include Parampara, Zee Horror Show, Dishayen, Sanjivani: A Medical Boon, Isse Kehte Hai Golmaal Ghar, Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki, and Zaara to name a few. While the films include Gardish, Ganga Jamuna Ki Lalkar, Ajooba, Sirf Tum, Mehndi, Isi Life Mein, and Hero No. 1.
