Shabir Ahluwalia shares his excitement on making his web series debut


Actor Shabir Ahluwalia, one of Ekta Kapoor’s blue-eyed boys from the showbiz industry is coming up with his debut in the web series space with an upcoming presentation of the series named, Fixer. He mentioned that the platform offers short and flexible shooting duration which is a major attraction of the same.

Fixer will be an Ekta Kapoor’s ALTBalaji platform work. Shabir Ahluwalia will be playing the lead character of Jaiveer Malik for this show.

Stating about his work in the series Fixer, Shabir mentioned, “I am very excited to be making my web series debut with ALTBalaji. Being currently involved with ‘Kumkum Bhagya’, this further extends an association with Balaji, that has been nothing short of memorable. I share a great bond with Ekta Kapoor and it feels wonderful to be working with her again in such an engaging format.”

On the dynamic digital space debut with Fixer, Shabir Ahluwalia further added, “Streaming platforms are now fast growing and gaining immense popularity amongst the masses and ALTBalaji has been raising its bar with amazing content. One of the major benefits of working in a web series is that the format makes for a very short and flexible shooting duration. I hope my character, as well as the series, is well appreciated by the viewers.”

Fixer is a story of a corrupt ATS officer from the Delhi streets who is drawn into the murky underbelly of the Mumbai movie mafia and the related industrialists. Here being a part of the show, he ends up landing as a fixer.

The actor will be portraying the lead role in a character of a police officer who keeps delving into his personal life conflicts and his further dealings with his newfound profession while fixing his illegal matters. The upcoming series will also be starring Mahie Gill, Isha Koppikar and Karishma Sharma.
