The film Bhouri is a social drama, which has a long star cast including Raghubir Yadav, Marsha Paur, Kunickaa Sadanand, Aditya Pancholi, Mukesh Tiwari, Mohan Joshi, Manoj Joshi and Sitaram Panchal seen in the main and supporting roles. The film is directed by JasbirBhati, which has both the veterans and novices. The film is directed by Jasbir Bhati while produced by Chandrapal Singh who is a Bhopuri filmmaker. The film has one of the interesting star casts, which gives the crux of the male dominated society wherein men live to enjoy their base desires in a village for a woman called Bhouri.
The director calls the film a tragic love story which is seen between a 23 year old girl that gets married to 55 years of age and the movie simply showcases the exploitation of women in this sick male dominated world. The director wanted to showcase the problems of women and the issues they face in this fatal world in the melodramatic fashion. The film was earlier scheduled to release on 17th June 2016, however, due to some technical reasons and the unreliability of good amount of screens, the makers of the film pushed it in the future without announcing the date.
