Finally the Aamir Khan starrer and productions’ film called Secret Superstar was released yesterday. The film was seen gaining a good buzz in the media for the reason of having Mr. Perfectionist playing the Obnoxious director and the girl from Dangal, Zaira Waseem in it. The film though had a debutante director yet with the high star value of Aamir Khan maintained its buzz in the media. The film had a very good ratings from all the critics and have somewhere translated the reviews into action with a decent collection on the first day.
The film started with the occupancy of 30 percent in the morning shows, which escalated in the evening. Also, the film could not get the kind of screens it deserved and it was restricted to mere 1800 screens. Well, now talking about the first day box office collection for Secret Superstar was around 8.5 crores. The film has a unique content and story which deals with a young girl who follows her dream to become a superstar in singing keeping her behind the veil when her father is deadly against all such things. She at the same time attempts to liberate her mother from an ailing marriage.
So far the film has gone solo now with the release of Golmaal Again, the film Secret Superstar will get some heat of competition, which means the collection get an impact, however, considering the holiday for Diwali, and the coming weekend which is free for most of the people, the collection will certainly going to rise. The film is expected to compelte its half century soon before even the first weekend passes as it has already got an extended weekend by releasing the movie way before one day. Let’s see how the film will perform but as of not the story seems to be better.
