In the list of a couple of mid budget films, Second Hand Husband is also the one, which hit the theatres last Friday. However, the film failed to garner a good response despite being having the hype about Govinda‘s daughter – Tina Ahuja making a debut in it. The film had got a mixed review yet the comedy failed to garner a good response in terms of occupancy and collection. There was hardly any word of mouth of buzz at a majority of place in India except in the northern areas like Punjab for the film and that too owing to the presence of Dharmendra in it.
As per reports, Second Hand Husband first weekend box office report tolled to around 2 crores, which is certainly not a good news for Govinda and her daughter Tina. The film starring Gippy Grewal, Tina Ahuja and Geeta Basra failed to get a good hype in the media, which seems to have come in its way. Also, the promotion of the film was low as usual. On the other side Guddu Rangeela managed to do a better business than this one, while ABCD 2 continued doing a decent business, wherein it closing to 100 crores thus becoming the second highest grocer of 2015.
