Scarlett Johansson Once Again Bags the Forbes Highest-Paid Actresses List

With Black Widow once again hitting the headlines, the Hollywood star Scarlett Johansson has got another big thing to catch all eyes on her. Topping the list for the second successive year in the Forbes’ list of highest paid female actors in the world, Scarlett has once again made an impression. The 34-year-old actor has reached around USD 56 million in her earnings after the huge success of her summer Marvel film ‘Avengers: End Game’.
It has also been learnt that Johansson has received a really fat pay check for her upcoming film ‘Black Widow’ from the Disney’s Marvel Studios, as per an international outlet’s report.
Next in the league follows the ‘Modern Family’ star Sofia Vergara attaining an earning of USD 44.1 million while ‘Big Little Lies’ actors Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman take the third and fourth spot, respectively on the Forbes list, with the earning of USD 35 million and USD 34 million, respectively.
All these earnings of the actors were calculated between the period of June 1, 2018, and June 1, 2019.
Jennifer Aniston, who earned a total of USD 28 million has rounded out to the top five, followed by Kaley Cuoco (USD 25 million), Elisabeth Moss (USD 24 million) and Margot Robbie (USD 23.5 million).
Charlize Theron and Ellen Pompeo were placed at placed at the ninth and tenth positions, respectively. However, none of the Indian female leads made it to the top 10 highest paid actress list.
Forbes also gave a noting that even though the combined earnings of highest-paid female actors has grown by 69 per cent totalling to USD 314.6 million, it remains still way below than as compared to the combined haul of their male counterparts who raked in USD 588.3 million.
