Satya Manjrekar is a Marathi film actor and was born and brought up in Mumbai only. Now many would know that he is the son of Mahesh Manjrekar and Deepa Mehta. Satya has undoubtedly got the support of his parents, and his godfather — none other than Salman Khan — for a career in films. Currently, Satya, is rising high under Salman’s protective wings. He is being launched in Marathi film called ‘Janiva’ which he deservedly got through his own hard work. He did not accept his launch pad through his dad Mahesh Manjrekar. He did not want to be a liability on his father.

In fact, it was Salman Khan who inspired him to do ‘Janiva’ as he will gain more camera skills and shy boy said that he needs to be less shy. I agreed to his proposal just because of Salman’s advice. He auditioned for the film and was lucky to have got this film. He says he has inherited the quality of acting from his father. The actor says, it’s just the beginning as he is simply 20 and have to go a long way.
