According to reports, the Simmba actress will soon start filming for a historic movie based on the backdrop of the Quit India Movement, 1942.

And now, her close friend and co-star Varun Dhawan, who has partnered with Amazon Prime videos, launched her new film through his Instagram feed. This movie is named Ae Watan Mere Watan. Fans will be excited to witness Sara a completely different character.

Amazon Prime’s Partner Varun Dhawan introduced Sara Ali Khan as the main character in this upcoming Prime Video Original Movie, Ae Watan Mere Watan. Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions helms the project. He also revealed that the team will start its production process this worth. Well, Prime partner Varun Dhawan has kept his promise of providing fans with never heard and latest updates.

Varun declared in his unique way that Sara Ali Khan would play a heroic, lion-hearted freedom fighter in a fictional movie based on the events of the 1942 Quit India Movement.

This upcoming film is a thriller drama based on true incidents. Darab Farooqui and Kannan Iyer wrote the script, and Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta are producing it along with Somen Mishra. Kannan Iyer is also directing it.

This Amazon Original film will release in 240 nations and regions worldwide for all the prime members once it releases. It will become part of thousands of films and TV series, airing on the streaming giant’s official platform.
