For Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati the trouble continues

Padmavati 1st Poster
It seems that for the upcoming movie of Sanjay Leela Bhansali called Padmavati, the seems no end to the troubles. With too much repulsion from different sections of the society, we now hear a new sect, which is a Brahmin organization called as the Sarv Brahmin Mahasabha, is now in the scene to oppose the release of his magnum opus. In the statement made by the state chief of the said group given to the media, Mr. Suresh Mishra was seen saying that they will not going to tolerate any kind of distortion over the historical facts at any cost. On the other side, the group called Sri Rajput Karni Sena, which is an organization of the Rajput community was seen opposing the release of the film on 1st December on the same grounds.

The state chief said considering the emotions and the feelings of the people, the screening of the film has to be cancelled otherwise they will agitate and stop the screening in the country. He said in his statement that the filmmaker has distorted the historical facts and we cannot just tolerate this. As we know the film has been in trouble since it was announced. Twice the sets of the film was destroyed, while the filmmaker was once manhandled and misbehaved by these groups for distorting the history in his film.

In fact, they went on to damage the camera and other equipment, which made the filmmakers to stop shooting. In the month of March 2017, some of the people were seen breaking the mirrors of Padmini Mahal in the Palace of Chittorgarh Fort where Alauddin Khilji was seen seeing the queen. As per the Karni Sena, the mirror was not used for the same and it was made years after the incident that made them thrash the mirror. The groups are ow planning a big rally against the movie in Gujarat on 12th November. So, what do you say, is the opposition is right for the film?
