They are the producers, and in my 30 years of experience, I can confidently say they are the best producers I have worked with. However, the decision to proceed with a second season lies entirely with them.” Heeramandi, meaning “Diamond Market” in English, delves into the lives of courtesans in Lahore’s red-light district during the British Raj. The series features a talented ensemble cast, comprising established actresses like Manisha Koirala and Sonakshi Sinha, alongside Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Sharmin Segal, and Sanjeeda Shaikh.
Notable actors such as Fardeen Khan, Shekhar Suman, Taha Shah Badussha, and Adhyayan Suman also grace the series. Set in 1940s Lahore, Heeramandi promises to deliver a captivating drama set against the backdrop of the courtesan culture.
