Kaushik Sen is basically at Bengali TV and film actor apart from being active in theaters and Bollywood films. He was born on 19th September 1968 in Calcutta and comes from the family of actors ShyamalSen and Chitra Sen. He did his schooling from Julien Day School while his college has been completed from Scottish Church College in Calcutta. As far as his personal life is concerned, he is married to his old time friend Reshmi Sen and the couple has a song called Riddhi Sen. The actor has even won the reputed award called BFJA Awards for the supporting actor role for his incredible performance in the Mrinal Sen directed movie called Aamar Bhuvan.
His journey in acting started with the Bengali film Ek Din Pratidin, which soon followed a couple of other movies from regional cinema like Papi, Prajapati, Bidrohini, Himghar and Sopan to name a few in his initial days. His debut in Bollywood movie started with the film called Zulfikar , which came in 2016, which soon followed another called Dark Chocolate made on the murder mystery of Sheena Bora case. He is now gearing up for his next film Kahaani 2, which is all set to hit the theatres on 2nd December 2016. He is also the part of many theatre groups and has directed many plays for the group Swapnasandhani. In the year 2010 his theatre group called Swapnasandhani staged the play Birpurush, which was inspired by Rabindranath Tagore’s poem. It was made at the backdrop of current Indian politics of West Bengal. The play later stirred up some controversies
