Yesterday 25th June it was reported on several platforms that Sanjay Gupta and Sanjay Dutt will again join hands after 14 years of Zinda for Zinda 2.
This news spread like a wildfire and everyone started talking about it. However, rubbishing the reports the filmmaker immediately issued a note on Twitter. He wrote, “False Exclusive!!! When it’s all in place I am the first to proudly announce my next. This is not it!”
Speaking to ETimes, he said, “The reports about ‘Zinda 2’ are completely false, but I will definitely work with Sanjay Dutt as soon as something good comes up. We have a long legacy of work and if we have to get together, it has to be for something truly challenging and memorable. I cannot go to Sanju with just about anything. It has to be an outstanding role, that’s also a great challenge for him. As soon as that comes my way, I will be at his door”.
Sanjay Gupta and Sanjay Dutt have worked together in several films including ‘Kaante’, ‘Musafir’, ‘Zinda’, ‘Shootout at Lokhandwala’, and ‘Aatish’.
Meanwhile, Sanjay Dutt is awaiting the release of KGF Chapter 2. The film also stars south superstar Yash and Srinidhi Shetty among others. The actor will also be seen in Akshay Kumar starrer Prithviraj. The film makes the Bollywood debut of former beauty queen Manushi Chhillar.
