Sanjay Dutt Spotted on the sets of Ranveer-Deepika’s Padmavati, what was he doing there?
It may be a surprise for many to see Sanjay Dutt at the sets of Padmavati, well, he is likely to make a special appearance in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film starring Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh. Although an official confirmation on the same is yet to be made but if you believe the latest reports then Sanjay specially went to meet Bhansali on the sets of Padmavati last night and also discussed his role in length.
In fact, we hear S L Bhansali wasn’t even aware Dutt is going to drop by on the set but as soon as he saw him, he quickly wrapped up his filming and caught up with Dutt for a good 2 hours or so. As per the insider in interaction with Mumbai Mirror, “We did not know Sanju baba was going to turn up on the Padmavati set that day. Watching the two talking for such a long time without anyone else’s presence made everyone wonder if Bhansali sir was going to re-start his Khalnayak remake.
Everybody knows that SLB wanted Sanju to reprise his role of Ballu Balram from the original Subhash Ghaifi lm. But we’ve been told that the two were actually discussing Padmavati at length. The actor is expected to join the ensemble cast and is rumoured to start shooting for a special appearance.”
Now it’s left to see what role that has been offered to Sanjay in Padmavati. How exciting is it to know that if at all this collaboration works, this will be Bhansali and Dutt’s first film together? Currently Shahid is shooting for Padmavati following which; Ranveer Singh will shoot for his intense sequences.
