Sanjay Dutt Kids & Madhuri – Jab They Met on Kalank Sets


Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit were lovers and they had their love affair in the early nineties. However, the allegation on Sanjay Dutt having connections with underworld led the separation when they were about to marry. Since then they have never worked together and their ways have been always different that never crossed. However, with Kalank the once upon the time love birds are back on the screen. And we see them working after two and half decades gap, which made the audience curious making every one intrigued.

In fact, on the sets, they seemed friendly and talking with respect. During the promotion of the film, they had come together with Madhuri addressing Sanju Baba as Sanjay Sir. The actor also expressed his happiness working with the lady in Kalank. He claimed he was nervous working with her but Madhuri helped made things comfortable. He applauded the lady for her dancing and acting skills like as always. During the making of the film, Sanjay Dutt’s kids too joined him at the sets and Madhuri got the chance to meet the two – Iqra and Shahraan. The two mingled with Madhuri aunty and they had great fun.

Also, the film Kalank happens to be a big budget movie and has been the dream project of Karan Johar since his father wanted to make it. However, things did not work for him and it took long for him to embark with it. Also, Sanjay Dutt has confirmed about this fact stating that Karan’s father Yash Johar too spoke about it while he was doing a film Gumrah with Mr. Yash. It was the brainchild of Yash Johar, which Karan Johar has picked up. Sri Devi was the original choice of Bahar Begum but due to her sudden demise, she was replaced with Madhuri Dixit.
