Sandeep Unnithan’s book on 26/11 attacks set to be adapted into a web series

26/11 has been a simply moving tragic event laid with the most evil side of terrorism in India. Covering the whole tragedy in a single book, Sandeep Unnithan gave it an awesome turn in his book, Black Tornado: The Three Sieges of Mumbai 26/11. But, a bigger news that coming in this concern is the relevant adaptation of the same into a web series that will be hailed by Contiloe Pictures.

Author Sandeep Unnithan’s famous book, Black Tornado: The Three Sieges of Mumbai 26/11 will soon be turned into an upcoming web series. American screenwriter, Joshua Caldwell released her interest and intent towards coming on board to work on this adaptation.

Contiloe Pictures, a broad-based entertainment content production company, has already received the rights for the adaptation of this book, Black Tornado: The Three Sieges of Mumbai 26/11 into a digital web series. Sources mentioned that this multi-episode digital drama will be exploring the various facets of the Mumbai attacks held on 26/11 spreading the air of complete terror in the city. It will also be covering the responses laid down in this regard by the Indians and the topmost political leagues as well.

Even though the drafting of the show is ready, the casting of the show is still underway. The series is anticipated to get its launch in later half of this year, 2019, as stated by sources.

Sandeep’s book’s title, Black Tornado: The Three Sieges of Mumbai 26/11 is inspired by the code name assigned by the National Security Guard during the operation conducted in this regard. The book in itself is a true representation of the situations and circumstances laid down with 10 heavily-armed terrorists who sneaked into the country through the Arabian Sea, and attacked different locations in the city. The book encapsulates the various prime details of the three nights and the relative operations that went around the multiple sieges.

The book is a mirror for the society to get an insight of the counter-insurgency faced by our commandos and the different tragic human interest stories that lay far behind these images.
