Sanaya Irani is an Indian actress who is more active in a small screen. She was born on 17th September 1983 in Mumbai and was brought at this place. She comes from a Parsi family and did her schooling from Boarding School Ooty, while later completed her graduation from Mumbai University, followed by her Masters in Business Administration from Sydenham College. She started her career in modeling and her first modeling portfolio was carried out by actor Boman Irani who was a photographer at that time.

She did her debut in acting with the film Fanaa playing Mehbooba in 2006, which she calls it to be her dream film as it helped her to act with actors like Aamir Khan and Kajol. She then got engrossed in her modeling career doing a number of commercial and print ads with actors like Shahrukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor before she did enter into TV shows. She then was seen in the Jagjit Singh’s video Tumko Dekha. Irani was not comfortable in Hindi earlier but later she mastered it to emerge as a stable actress.

She got her debut in a TV show called Left Right Left in Sab TV in the year 2007. Soon she got a set other TV shows including Radhaa Ki Betiyaan Kuch Kar Dikhayengi, Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Miley Jab Hum Tum, Dill Mill Gayye, Meethi Choori No 1, Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya, Sasural Genda Phool, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, Teri Meri Love Stories, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain and Rangrasiya. Some of her recent TV shows include Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? Ek Jashn, I Don’t Watch TV, Nach Baliye 8, A Table For Two, India’s Next Superstars, Kitchen Champion 5, and Nach Baliye 9.

She did two more films in B Town, which include Dum Dum Dumroo and Pihu. She also did a couple of web series, which include Vodka Shots and Zindabad. Talking about her personal life, she was in a relationship with Mohit Sehgal her co-star since the two they have worked in the TV show called Miley Jab Hum Tum in 2010, the last day of the shoot. She got engaged in 2015 and later the two got married in 2o16 in Goa. She also bagged a few awards which include Indian Telly Awards getting the Best Onscreen Couple for the TV show called Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?
