Samantha Akkineni is an actress who hails from Chennai, and she was born on 28 April 1987. She did her schooling at Holy Angels Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School and later completed her B. Com from Stella Maris College. While she was in her graduating when she got involved in modeling and soon got spotted by one of the south Indian filmmakers called Ravi Varman who offered her a film. She started her acting career with a Telugu movie called Ye Maaya Chesave in the year 2010. Her debut movie was also made in Tamil with the title Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa in the year 2010.
Since then it was no looking back for the actress as she got so many south Indian films. These include Baana Kaathadi, Brindavanam, Nadunisi Naaygal, Dookudu, Ekk Deewana Tha, Eega, Naan Ee, Neethaane En Ponvasantham, Yeto Vellipoyindhi Manasu, Seethamma Vakitlo, Jabardasth, Theeya Velai Seiyyanum Kumaru, Something Something, Attarintiki Daredi, and Ramayya Vasthavayya to name a few in her earlier days.
Some of her recent South Indian films include A Aa, Janatha Garage, Raju Gari Gadhi 2, Mersal, Rangasthalam, Mahanati, Nadigaiyar Thilagam Madhuravani, Irumbu Thirai, Seema Raja, U-Turn, Super Deluxe, Majili, Oh! Baby, Manmadhudu 2, and her upcoming movie include 96 Remake. Talking about her other work, she will be seen in season 2 of The Family Man. She bagged a couple of awards for her various films including the CineMAA Awards, Filmfare, and state awards to name a few. Talking about her personal life, she married Naga Chaitanya in the year 2017.
