All thanks to his massive contribution for Indian Army, he has played a vital role in it. Well, the filmmakers like Roonie Screwvala got attracted towards his life to make a film and we saw him announcing a biopic based on him. Today, it happens to be his birth anniversary, and Roonie with his production banner called RSVP announced the title for the film as Sam Bahadur.
The film has a talented cast and crew with Vicky Kaushal playing the lead role in it. The film is based on the life of the valiant Manekshaw and the talented Vicky Kaushal in playing his character on the screen. The makers had shared his first look from the film that gives an uncanny resemblance to the legend. The military career of Sam Manekshaw has remained for 40 years and he was there in all the five wars in the country including the 1971 Indo-Pak war.
