The Badhaai Ho actor also spoke about the possibility of a Dream Girl 3. “We’re not ruling it out,” he said. “But we’ll have to see how well Dream Girl 2 does at the box office.”

The actor said that he would be happy to make a third film if the story is right. “I love the Dream Girl character, and I think there’s still a lot of potential to explore,” he said. Ayushmann Khurrana recently discussed the challenges of creating a sequel, emphasizing the need to meet the benchmark set by the first film. “The toughest thing about making a sequel is meeting the benchmark of the first film,” he said. “There is an expectation, and you have to reach at least 70% of that. If you can do that, you’re good. But if you don’t, you’re going to disappoint the audience.”

Khurrana explained that the expectation for a sequel is always high, because the first film has already been successful. “People have already invested their time and money in the first film,” he said. “So, they’re going to want the sequel to be at least as good, if not better.”
