Salman Khan won’t be a part of this year’s Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations, here’s why!

Ganesh Chaturthi, one of the most auspicious festivals, is in September this year. The 10-day event will begin on September 10 and will be celebrated with great pomp and fervour all around the country. Celebrities are also known for getting into the spirit of the festival. Every year, many celebrities, including Salman Khan, invite Lord Ganesha to their homes. However, according to the latest reports, the actor would not be celebrating Ganpati at his home this year.

Salman is presently in Turkey with Katrina Kaif, where they are filming Tiger 3, his forthcoming action film. The actor is claimed to be unable to burst the bio-bubble in which he is filming for Yash Raj’s film.

An Etimes report said, “Salim sa’ab and family will have Lord Ganesha blessing their home for one-and-half days, like every year. But no, it’s just not possible for Salman to be a part of those proceedings. He cannot break the bio-bubble he’s shooting in, for Yash Raj’s ‘Tiger’.”

Salman Khan and his family celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi with zeal and fervour every year. On certain occasions, his Galaxy Apartments are regularly packed with celebrities and admirers. Since the family began bringing the Ganesha to their houses in 2001, there hasn’t been a year when they haven’t done so.

Salman also missed the festivities in 2014 because he was in Los Angeles for a medical check-up. He had being treated for trigeminal neuralgia at the time.
