OMG: Sara Ali Khan’s Visit At Varanasi Temple Becomes a Controversy
As Sara Ali Khan visited the temple of Kashi Vishwanath in Varanasi, she was quick to share her video on her Instagram page. It did turn into a big hit going viral everywhere. She shot the video like a tour guide taking inside the lanes of Varanasi with her cool commentary. However, her visit to the said temple seems to have been objected by the local pundits of Kashi Vishwanath temple. The local committee of pandits and saints have raised their objection on her visit.
Talking about the controversy, Chandra Shekhar Kapoor who is the sec of Samiti was seen saying that actress cannot visit the temple against the norms and traditions of the temple. He said it objects to the entry over the non-Hindus into the premises for security reasons. She is a Muslim who has no reason to visit as she was seen doing the same for her free publicity and getting a good handsome Dakshina as well.
The Kashi Vikas Samiti also objected to her mother and Sara for participating in the ‘Ganga aarti’ as well as done on Sunday. Now, everyone seems to have joined the Samiti who alleges that the actress was there to take free publicity and not for any religious purpose. An she is a non-Hindu she cannot just visit the temple or Ganga Aarti. Talking about the same the committee has demanded a probe for her visit to the temple and to take necessary action for Sara attending the aarti and visiting the temple.
