We know Salman Khan to have a heart of gold. He has always stood for his people. Thus when the lockdown was announced by the PM, he knew the people who would be affected the most would be the daily wage workers. Hence he was quick to announce his help to 25,000 workers of the FWICE. His team has been in touch with the body called Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) to get the account details so that they can transfer the money in their respective bank accounts.
As per the recent buzz, the actor has transferred his first installment to 20,000 workers. They have received around 3000, which is a sum of around 6 Cr. The President of the film body called BN Tiwary confirmed the same. While talking about it, he said they have received the whopping 6 Crores, which acts as a ray of hope for the daily wage workers at this tough time. He added that this is the first installment and a similar amount would come the next.
He said they have also requested the remaining amount, which will reach in the next 10 – 12 days. He said the actor wanted to take some time so that the consumption of money would remain under control. Tiwari informed that since the actor does not want people to consume the money fast, hence he has taken the gap of ten days. Salman Khan is providing the money on behalf of his NGO called Being Human. Since FWICE has announced the shutdown of production for a few weeks, hence many including Salman Khan has come forward to support them.
