Salman Khan Shoots Patriotic Song with 60 Dancers for Battle of Galwan: Report

Salman Khan is once again making headlines—not just for his ongoing spat with Dabangg director Abhinav Kashyap, but also for exciting updates on his much-anticipated film Battle of Galwan. According to a recent Mid-Day report, Salman is currently filming a powerful patriotic song sequence in Mumbai, featuring over 60 background dancers.
Choreographed by Mudassar Khan, the song is described as an emotionally charged tribute to the valor and sacrifice of Indian soldiers. An industry insider revealed, “It’s not a celebratory number. The mood is patriotic, reflecting the pride, pain, and sacrifice of the soldiers. Salman and the director wanted it to feel organic and true to the story.”The insider added that Mudassar is prioritizing emotional expression over intricate choreography:
“The focus is on evoking the soldiers’ emotions rather than heavy dance moves. Filming is expected to continue throughout the week.”Salman and Mudassar Khan have a proven track record of delivering blockbuster songs, having collaborated on chart-topping hits like Dabangg (2010) and Ready (2011). Naturally, expectations are high for this poignant sequence.
Though the makers have not officially confirmed these details, it is known that Arijit Singh will lend his voice to one of the film’s songs. It’s widely believed that this patriotic number currently being shot features Arijit’s vocals.Fans will also recall Salman recently clearing the air about his decade-long misunderstanding with Arijit Singh on Bigg Boss 19, calling it “a thing of the past” and affirming Arijit as his “very good friend.” Their collaboration on Battle of Galwan is eagerly awaited and adds another layer of anticipation to the film’s release.
