Salman Khan picks up broom for ‘Clean India’ campaign

Salman Khan's Clean India Campaign

The Clean India Campaign is the latest buzz in B Town these days. Taking ahead the campaign of Prime Minister – Narendra Modi, the Dabangg Khan is seen taking up the broom in his hand to extend the cleanliness drive at Karjat. Salman has posted a couple of pictures of his cleanliness campaign moves over the microbloging site- Twitter.

Salman was seen accompanied by Neil Nitin Mukesh and Manjor Joshi who happen to his co-stars at movie called Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. He tweeted these pictures along with thanking the Prime Minister for taking up the initiative of Clean India and nominating him for the said drive. After carrying out the cleanliness campaign to other celebrities including his fans and followers at Twitter and Facebook, while called upon people like Aamir Khan, Chnda Kochhar, Azim Premji, Pradeep Dhoot, Omar Abdullah, Vineet Jain, Rajnikanth and Rajat Sharma.

On the contrary, the prime minister applauded the efforts of Salman and said that indeed Khan’s efforts would inspire others as well to join the Clean India Campaign. The PM has now appealed to devote at least 100 hours a year towards the cleanliness task and therefore invited celebrities from Bollywood including Salman Khan, Kamal Hassan and Priyanka Chopra for this mission.
