Force 2 Movie Review

force-2-poster

The Fierce Action performance from lead actors can make your day though the chemistry between the two can be a big dismay

This Friday one can find a couple of movie releases, which certainly include the sequel Force 2. The film is an action thriller, which is directed by Abhinay Deo while produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah under the banner of Sunshine Pictures Pvt. Ltd., Viacom Motion Pictures and JA Entertainment. The movie has John Abraham and Sonakshi Sinha in the pivotal roles along with Tahir Raj Bhasin, Genelia D’Souza seen in a cameo with her same role called Maya in the prequel called Force along with Paras Arora and Narendra Jha in the supporting roles. The principal photography for the movie all started in August 2015, while its time to catch the insight of the film to get the crux of the same as under, let’s check it:

Plot

Let’s talk about the story of the film. Well, in one word, the film is a combat between the Indian intelligence and terrorist mastermind who is responsible in carrying out all the dreaded activities all across the nation. The action spy thriller has John Abraham the same old ACP Yashvardhan seen in the prequel with the lady officer (intelligence officer) called KK alias Kamaljit Kaur. The duo despite all their dislikes were seen teaming up to nab the mastermind of the terrorists group called Shiv played by Tahir Bhasin whose mission in mind is to kill the Indian Prime Minster. So, their job is to locate him and catch him dead or alive so that his mission to kill the state head of India can be averted. Amidst this fierce action mission, the two also falls in love but at the same time eliminates the man that goes on a haul to kill the Indian PM. But how does it all works out is interesting to catch in the film.

Review

At one go, if you compare the sequel with the previous one, it appears to be more fierce and well made, however, there seems to be some mismatch in terms of stories, which was not in the case of prequel. The action you find in the film is simply going to hold your breath, courtesy to John Abraham who left no stone unturned to showcase the best over the silver screen. Well, the film is straight forward and simple as has a very straight kind of plot in it wherein the main lead has to catch the mastermind of the dreaded terrorist who is keen to kill the Indian PM. Unfortunately, the blend of romance and action in such a serious and no-nonsense movie like Force 2 seems unbearable. Amidst the serious mission romance is cheaply, which seriously doesn’t blend that well that can justify, rest the film is okay with decent flow and sequences but mind it, Force 2 is only for John Abraham and Sonakshi Sinha fans and the people who love action.

Star Performances

Well, talking about John Abraham in the character of ACP Harshavardhan, once again he has nailed in a perfect place, which will for sure going to invite loads of word of mouth buzz for the film. The way he has showcased his action skills while playing the film is really awesome and hats off to his incredible performances, in fact he has simply overshadowed the actors working with him with the fierce action sequences and performance. Next is Sonakshi Sinha, she has defined her image as an action girl than the bubbly girl. Thanks to her incredible performance, she has given in this film, which has certainly overshadowed all her previous performance.   Tahir Bhasin in the character of the dreaded mastermind called Shiv wanting to kill the PM is simply awesome in his performance. He has actually read the character so well that he managed to portray over the silver screen the best. The others in the supporting roles too are good and have helped to prosper the film in a big way. And yes don’t forget to catch the high-octane action sequences of Tahir as these very much matches with the international standards, against John.

Direction, Music and other elements

The direction of the film is really competitive as far as actions of the film are concerned, however, integrating the other elements in it like Romance seems to be a dump idea in which the director had to regret, however, the same thing was dealt so well in the first part, which was not that action prone film by the way. The music is you talk about this film, it seems average, which has hardly anything, which can be called as a must hear track in it. The cinematography is incredible and thanks to the smart choice of locations in the film and other elements. The technical elements are okay in the movie and similar is the story with other elements, which have somehow managed to boost up the entertainment value of the movie.

Force 2 The Last Word

The film deserves applauds for hitting hard the best and more relevant topic of national focus called counter terrorism. The spy thriller can be called as a must watch if you happen to be an action lover, which was superbly backed by the performance of John Abraham, and even Sonaskshi Sinha to a great extent. This has certainly helped to increase the rating of the movie, which is certainly close to excellent.

Rating – 3.5
