Salman Khan sung a new Bollywood number named Main Taare, for his parent production film Notebook. The film marks the Bollywood debut of the new entrants, Zaheer Iqbal and Pranutan Bahl.

However, Salman’s appearance in the film cameo is well anticipated but, the actor has made an audio cameo already by singing this romantic song, Main Taare for Notebook. This is the same song as per the rumored quotes that the song was actually offered to the Pakistani romantic singer Atif Aslam before the put over ban blanket after the Pulwama attack.

Salman has also been featured in a music video coming from the film sets showing the glimpses of the lead pair in the film and love story intended to follow. Written by the lyricist, Manoj Muntashir and composed by Vishal Mishra, the song lyrics depict Zaheer as a common man with common abilities meanwhile Pranutan is shown missing his feel in his absence.

Zaheer comes as Salman’s friend’s son, while Pranutan is the granddaughter of one of the most popular black and white era late actress Nutan and the daughter of the familiar actor who has been a part and parcel of Salman’s filmy career, Mohnish Bahl. Sharing his thoughts during the film Notebook’s trailer launch, Salman mentioned, “I launch deserving candidates, not anybody. She (Pranutan) did a screen test and she is on. She is amazing in the film. She is so good with her lines. He (Zaheer) was unable to get the right dance step. He rehearsed for five hours and next day he got it right. He is hard working.”

Three songs from the film are already released- Nai Lagda, Laila and Bumro while the movie is set to release on March 29.
