Salaar Soars: Prabhas’ Blockbuster Get a Remarkable 1.6 Million Views on Netflix

Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire marked the first collaboration between Prabhas and KGF director Prashanth Neel. The film garnered significant attention and achieved a massive gross of 600 crores at the worldwide box office. Following its successful theatrical run, the epic action film made its debut on Netflix and quickly secured a position among the Top 3 most-viewed films. Netflix recently released its data for the period of January 15 to January 21, 2024, revealing that Salaar, with a runtime of 2 hours and 54 minutes, received 1.6 million views, with an average of 4,700 hours viewed. This achievement positioned the Prabhas-led film at the third spot on the list of Netflix’s Top 10 Films (Non-English), following Society Of The Snow and Sixty Minutes.

Society Of The Snow, a Spanish survival thriller, maintained its position in the Top 10 for three consecutive weeks, accumulating 13.4 million views in the last week with a runtime of 2 hours and 26 minutes. Similarly, Sixty Minutes secured the second spot in Netflix’s Top 10 Non-English films with a viewership of 10.6 million, making its debut on Netflix on January 19, 2024.

At the global box office, Salaar, directed by Prashanth Neel, achieved total collections of 612.9 crores. These figures, which are updated after 26 days, indicate the film’s significant success. It is anticipated that the film will conclude its lifetime run below the 620 crore mark.

Salaar, which hit the digital platform Netflix on January 20, received mixed reactions after its theatrical release. However, the film’s positive reception from OTT viewers reflects a distinct appreciation for the Prabhas starrer.
