Salaar 2: Prabhas and Prashanth Neel’s Highly-Anticipated Sequel Delayed – Here’s Why

Prabhas has some exciting projects lined up for the next two years. In 2023, the South superstar delighted his fans with the action-packed Salaar: Part 1—Ceasefire, directed by Prashanth Neel. The movie also features Sriya Reddy, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, and others. The sequel, Salaar: Part 2—Shouryanga Parvam, also known as Salaar 2, was announced last year. Recent updates have sparked headlines about Prabhas and Prashanth Neel’s movie. Initially, reports suggested that the team would soon commence shooting the film this year. However, a new report has emerged, indicating that Prashanth Neel’s movie with Prabhas has been shelved due to creative differences between the actor and the director.
While Salaar 2 is reportedly on hold, it has not been officially confirmed by the movie’s team. On the other hand, Prashanth Neel is also involved in KGF 3 and a new movie with Jr NTR, which is set to start in August this year. These commitments are speculated to have affected the progress of Salaar 2, although these are just speculations. The movie’s team has not confirmed the sequel’s cancellation, leaving fans in anticipation of an official statement from Prashanth or Prabhas. Meanwhile, Prabhas has a major release coming up next month—Kalki 2898 AD.
