Poster 83

Here comes the excitement for the most awaited movies of 2020 called 83. The film features Ranveer Singh as Kapil Dev playing the caption of the 1983 Cricket Squad to England that bagged the World Cup. As the makers are busy promoting the film, we now see them coming out with the new poster featuring Ranveer Singh with the shield or the world cup that talks a lot about the film. Ranveer Singh was quick to share the same on his Instagram handle:<

And if you compare this photo with the original one with Kapil Dev with the World Cup Shield clicked in 1983, there is barely any difference except the fact that Kapil is replaced by Ranveer. But mind you, it is not a photoshopped poster where the makers have tried to club Ranveer in it but the real photograph clicked on the sets of the film which is now being shared as the poster of the film.
Ranveer Singh has worked had to get into the skin of Kapil Dev and his uncanny resemblance to the real-life captain can be seen vividly in the poster. The film is directed by Kabir Khan and it has a slew of actors playing the 83 squads along with Deepika Padukone playing the wife of Ranveer Singh in the film. The movie is produced by Reliance Entertainment along with Kabir Khan.
