Saif Ali Khan’s web series with Ali Abbas Zafar gets a new title as Dilli
Just when we heard about a web series by Ali Abbas Zafar having Saif Ali Khan as its next venture, we heard its title as Tandav. But as per the latest buzz, the makers have now changed it to Dilli. It is a political drama having Saif Ali Khan in the lead role. The reasons of changing the same is to avoid any kind of conflict in the future. As per reports, the web series also has Tanu Weds Manu Returns actor – Mohd Zeeshan Ayub as a young political leader.
The other reason cited out for the name change was that the web series is shot a lot in Delhi and it deals with a subject which somewhere relates to the political conditions also made the makers change the title. As per reports, the political drama is will have slew of other actors in it with Saif Ali Khan also playing a politician who aspires to be a PM one day of the country.
While talking about the same, the Jawani Jaaneman actor said the web series is inspired by the American political system somewhere in the lines of House of Cards which will have its Indian version. The plot of the series will be dealing with various factions including UP cops, Dalit politics and the nexus between these groups. Further talking about the same, he said his character is somewhere like Chanakya kind of youth leader who is willing to become the PM. Stay tuned to know more about it and others only with us.
