Saif Ali Khan Set to Return to the Race Franchise in Fourth Installment: Report
The highly anticipated Race franchise is set to make a thrilling comeback with Race 4, featuring the talented Saif Ali Khan in the lead role. This action-thriller series, renowned for its stylish visuals and intricate plot twists, has cultivated a devoted fan base over the years, eagerly awaiting its return to the big screen. Although we missed Saif Ali Khan in Race 3, but it is interesting to see him returning to the franchise with the fourth edition.
Producer Ramesh Taurani has long been enthusiastic about reviving the Race franchise, and with Saif Ali Khan back on board, the project is gaining significant momentum. The actor, who played a pivotal role in the earlier installments, is excited to dive back into the world of suspense and intrigue. According to a report by PinkVilla, Saif is indeed set to return to the franchise. A source revealed, “Saif Ali Khan has been discussing Race 4 with Ramesh Taurani for some time, and they have finally agreed to reboot the franchise. Saif has given his nod in principle and is thrilled to re-enter the Race universe. Ramesh Taurani aims to begin filming in the first quarter of 2025.”
The source further disclosed that while the basic plot for Race 4 is locked, the team is currently working on the screenplay. Alongside Saif Ali Khan, a significant ensemble cast is expected to join the project, with casting efforts already underway. Additionally, the makers are keen on bringing in a fresh and credible director to give the film a new perspective.
While Race 4 is still in the early stages of development, Saif Ali Khan will soon be seen in Devara Part 1. He has also recently completed shooting for Siddharth Anand’s heist drama, Jewel Thief – The Red Sun Chapter. Fans can look forward to an exciting comeback as the Race saga continues.
