Saif Ali Khan denies the reports playing Sara’s reel Father in Love Aaj Kal sequel
Just after the news of Imtiaz Ali’s next venture Love Aaj Kal sequel came out, we heard that the makers have roped in Sara Ali Khan who will be playing the reel daughter of Saif Ali Khan in it. It did create a good buzz in the media when the film brought the two so early at the silver screen playing daughter and father in it. However, are now reports suggesting that Saif Ali Khan has denied about the same role when Sara Ali Khan would be playing his daughter in the sequel called Love Aaj Kal 2. Well, this simply proves the fact that the portal revealing this news knows more than Saif Ali Khan.
On hearing about the news, Saif Ali Khan said he has no clue about how this news has surfaced in the media and that he has no plans for the same. The Rangoon actor said this is not so true. Earlier, there were reports that Saif Ali Khan was to star a film with his daughter Sara Ali Khan in a film called Jawani Jaaneman. However, the news again died down as nothing really had come out of that sort. The news soon proved hoax as the plot of the film was something similar to the Big B starrer film with Jiah Khan Nishabd where a man is in love with a woman half of his age. However, we soon heard that the role went to Alaia Furniturewalla the daughter of Pooja Bedi.
On the other side, Sara Ali Khan too was asked about her role in Love Aaj Kal with Saif Ali Khan, and she said that she would love to work with her father, but both the film and the roles should justify the presence of the two. She said they cannot just do any film for the sake of doing any. Well, it is no surprise to see such rumours spreading over the media like wildfire especially when it is linked with the life of Bollywood celebrities.
