Do you remember the cop Arjun from Don 2, the colleague of Priyanka Chopra, yes, he is the same man, Sahil Shroff is a popular actor and model, who came into fame with Farhan Akhar’s sequel of Don. He hails from a Sindhi family, while was born and brought up in Australia. There he did his schooling and college followed by masters in Information Technology and later went for his Management studies from Australia. He worked for a couple of odd jobs to complete his education including doing graveyard shift in a couple of nightclubs. Later he moved to Bombay, the city of dreams to become a full time model. With his smart physique and capability of carry out different attires on his body made himself noticed in the modelling circles.
After entering the modelling world, Sahil Shroff was seen in the first season of a popular reality TV contest called The Amazing Race Asia in the year 2007. He then did a couple of TV commercials including for the brands like HCL Enterprise, Tata Indica, Lux and Cadbury’s Eclairs. Soon, he was seen over a number of ramps, wherein he walked for popular designers like Manish Malhotra, Narendra Kumar, JJ Valaya and Vikram Phadnis. During his modelling, he got his acting and voice lessons from veteran actors in B Town like Anupam Kher and then entered into the films.
It was in 2011, he made his first appearance in movies, which was none other than the film Don 2 by Farhan Akhtar along with Priyanka Chopra, Lara Dutta and Shah Rukh Khan. The movie was a big hit, which also gave him recognition in the film world giving a couple other movies. His next movie was Shaadi Ke Side Effects with Farhan Akhtar and Vidya Balan, while currently; he is filming for a movie called Desi Magic, starring Amisha Patel and Zayed Khan.
