Rukhsar Rehman is an actress and model who hails from Rampur, UP. She was born on 29th October 1975 in Rampur and was brought up at this place. She did her schooling and college from Rampur and headed to Mumbai where she got the chance to act in the film Yaad Rakhegi Duniya in 1992 by filmmaker Deepak Anand. The same year she got the chance to be in another film called Inteha Pyar Ki, however, her father asked to quit the industry and return to Rampur to get into garment business.
She then returned and started the venture, however, she could not hold for long as she wanted to return to Mumbai to make a comeback and soon got a film called D – Underworld by Ram Gopal Verma in 2005 and since then it was no looking back for the actress. She then got a number of movies, which include God Tussi Great Ho, The Stoneman Murders, Accident on Hill Road, Thanks Maa, Benny and Babloo, Knock Out, Allah Ke Banday, Shaitan, Bheja Fry 2, Life Ki Toh Lag Gayi, PK (2014), Love Games, Take off (2017) -Malayalam film and Uri: The Surgical Strike (2019). She is seen next in Emraan Hashmi and Rishi Kapoor starrer film The Body.
She also has worked in small screen doing by doing a debut in TV show called Bhaskar Bharti, Kuch Toh Log Kahenge, Baal Veer, Tumhari Paakhi, Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya, Adaalat, Dream Girl (2015), Diya Aur Baati Hum, Haq Se, and Mariam Khan – Reporting Live to name a few. As said she is also a model, she has appeared in a couple of TV commercials for various brands. Talking about her personal life, she was married to Asad Ahmed and later got separated. She then got married to Faruk Kabir an actor and director in year 2010 after dating for six years.
