Just when when the SS Rajamouli’s next film RRR has been making big news in the media, we hear that the makers are of the opinion to change the title as they find it confusing. Ever since the film was announced in the media, it has been making headlines for the reason as people are wondering what RRR really stands for. Many have even asked the director Rajamouli about it, but he preferred to stay mute for keeping the film under the carpet and allowing people to become intrigued about it.
However, people did come to know that the title RRR is nothing but the abbreviation of Raghupati Raghav Rajaram which the makers tried to register the film earlier. However, once they failed to register the said title, they acquired another one called RRR, which is an acronym as given for the above said name. Now, for the Hindi audience, the film stands for Rise Roar Revolt. In Telugu it did stand for Roudram Ranam Rudhiram while in Tamil it stands for Irattam Ranam Relattiram.
All the titles conflict from one language to the other and so the interpretations, the director finds the RRR acronym to create problems ahead. Hence he wants to have a title that can be pitchy like the one word titles including Eega, Baahubali and Magadheera to name a few. Well, this is the first time when the makers have different titles for any film in different languages, which is hitting the screens in multi-language soon. Stay tuned to know more about it and others only with us.
