Rosanna and Winston are a New York-based married power couple who, together with their daughter Chanell, “show the world a different vision of style.” As “influencers”, they leverage their aesthetic, business and technical know-how on social media to deliver content that advertises individuals and brands. To date, their clients have included Disney, Burger King, Neutrogena, Hampton Hotels, Amazon, Yves Saint Laurent Beaute, and Coca-Cola.
Like all good success stories, it started with a hobby. Rosanna studied interior design while Winston has a degree in fashion marketing. Joining together Rosanna’s “glam” with Winston’s “dapper” they created GlamDapper in 2014. Since its launch, GlamDapper’s popularity has grown to such an extent that both founders have left their day jobs. As with many businesses—and many marriages—they have had to persevere through some hard times, but today they have more than half a million followers on Instagram.
So, what does GlamDapper offer? First and foremost, pictures that captivate and engage viewers, mixed with entertaining videos and vlogs, which together tell a story and showcase a given brand. The couple also captures behind-the-scenes action for their stories, and all posts are uploaded in both English and Spanish to appeal to a wider audience. The couple travels to wherever clients want them to be, offering their time in person. They have been known to create casual get-togethers with their influencer friends, or to attend a brand or individual’s event, live streaming the action in the moment.
