In his detailed online note, Roy revealed that the individual was not only approaching people under his name but was also attempting to take fraudulent event and professional bookings.

To ensure the public can identify and block the scammer, the actor shared the exact communication channels being utilized: The App Number: A Zangi private messenger number: 3318085685 and the Email Address: ronitroybookings@hotmail.com

Directly addressing the scammer at the end of his alert, Roy added a blunt, zero-tolerance warning: “As for the perpetrator…..’cops are coming for you’.”

Official Clarification and Public Safety

The actor explicitly clarified that neither he nor any legitimate member of his management team would ever privately approach individuals for money, personal favors, or casual networking.

“Please note I will never approach women on social networks or otherwise,” Roy stressed. “Obviously, I will never ask anyone for money. If y’all come across anyone like that, please bring it to my notice immediately.”

To substantiate his warning, Roy uploaded a series of screenshots documenting the fake interactions, including WhatsApp threads, Facebook messages, and direct call logs used to manipulate unsuspecting victims.

A Growing Industry Concern

Captioning the evidence, the actor urged fans to remain deeply vigilant against cybercriminals who leverage celebrity status for financial fraud. “Be very careful of people using celebrities’ identities to fool people and take advantage of them,” he wrote.

With digital impersonation and phishing scams becoming increasingly sophisticated in the entertainment industry, Roy’s swift public action serves as a crucial reminder for social media users to thoroughly verify profiles before engaging in any personal or financial communication online.
