Rochelle Rao is an anchor and Indian model. She was born on 25th November 1988in Chennai where she was raised. She did her schooling from Chennai and then went on to do her graduation in Electronics Media Degree from the known MOP Vaishnav College for Women, Chennai. After completing her studies she went on to spent a complete year working as a full time volunteer at the known school for underprivileged kids. Since she was keen to inspire the youth and mobilize them for contributing to their society, she chose to enter into the glamor industry as she felt it would be easy for her to influence more lives. She soon joined Channel UFX wherein she worked as an anchor for two years getting a good exposure to the entertainment industry.
She soon headed to pursue her dreams to become Miss India as she wanted to reach the entire nation. In 2012, she won the title Miss India South as first Runners Up. She then went on to win the Femina Miss India Inter national 2012 followed by representing the country at the popular Miss International Pageant held in Japan wherein she ranked at the 9th position out of 80 contestants from different nations. She was also seen participating in the season 6 of the reality show called Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and was seen back with a wild card entry. She was barely seen for the show as she had her performance.
Soon she was seen participating for the show called Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi in the year 2014 wherein she got eliminated that was hosted by Rohit Shetty. Later in 2014 she was seen in a travel show on Fox Life called Life Mein EkBaar along with Pia Trivedi, Mehak Chahal and Evelyn Shaarma. She was also seen in Bigg Boss season 9 apart from seen working in the comedy show called The Kapil Sharma Show with a character called Lottery. She was also the part of the Kingfisher Calendar in 2012. She was also seen as an anchor in the recently concluded tournament called IPL. As far as films, she was seen in a cameo in the film called Fitoor.
