Roar and Super Nani first day box office collection

Roar and Super Nani

Today, we had two movies hitting the theatres – first one having the great comeback of Rekha called Super Nani, while the other is the White Tiger based revenge story called Roar. Considering the fact that Happy New Year got such an overwhelming response with breaking all the all records and turning the biggest hits of 2014, it really turned out to be the hurdle for two releases of 31st October 2014. Let’s talk about Super Nani, having all the oldies in it including Randhir Kapoor and Anupam Kher along with Shraman Joshi and Shweta Kumar, the movie had a dull start. Having released in around thousand screens including both single and multiplex, the movie failed to garner good response, leaving figures to reach around 2 to 3 crores. The occupancy rate was reported to be maximum up to 15 percent.

Similarly, Roar is a venture of novices, yet impressed in terms of getting a decent opening at box office. As per reports, the movie was released with more or less thousand screens, yet was able to impress the audience with something new in script and action performance of the lead actors. Kamal Sadanah was lucky enough to get a good response for his movie releasing this Friday. As per the occupancy reports of morning, afternoon and evening, it went to around 30-40 percent, which is actually a decent one. So, the figure at the end of the day seems to be reaching around 4 to 5 crores, which is actually cool for a movie based on so many VFX effects and other graphics uses in Roar to impress the audience.
