Just when we see Shah Rukh Khan playing a vertically challenged man in his upcoming movie called Zero, we now hear Riteish also planning similar things in his next venture. The news was confirmed by the director, Milap Zaveri himself for his upcoming movie called Marjaavaan. The film will have the Houseful actor Riteish Deshmukh in a negative role in a vertically challenged avatar. So, when asked the reason of doing this, he said that by doing so he would be able to make the character of Riteish Deshmukh more wicked than his previous negative character seen in Ek Villain.
Zaveri himself will be writing the dialogues for the film. He said he would scale up the story by making the size for the actor small. As per the director, he is planning to scale down the height of Deshmukh not more than 3 feet in the film and would then add loads of humor in his character to make it more wicked. As we know Riteish Deshmukh to be an actor with perfect comic timing and known for his sense of humor, he is perfect for this character informed the director.
The filmmaker will be using the VFX effects to make him vertically challenged over the silver screen. He is looking to add more stuff in his character hence is carrying out the required research in it. He said he would using the two-layer sets and asking the actor to sit down on the knees to do the needful. Since the negative character is an essential element of the film, hence loads of experiment is expected by the director.
This will be Riteish’s second film after Ek Villian with Zaveri. The film will be produced by Nikhil Advani, which will be produced in association with T Series’ owner Bhushan Kumar. The film is titled as Marjaavaan, and it will be a dramatic and thrilling love story. Talking about Ritiesh, he was busy with his M Town venture called Mauli.
