Liger box Office prediction: Can Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday give a big hit?
Liger, starring Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday, is set to hit theatres on August 25. The film marks Vijay’s debut as a pan-India star and Ananya Panday’s first bilingual feature. Looking at the past box office records Liger has high hopes for the film’s performance, owing to the positive response Vijay has received at promotional events.
According to reports, the advance booking reaction at the ticket window has been extremely positive in the Telugu regions. The reports also state that Liger’s advance bookings across the Hindi belt appear to be reasonable as well. Vijay Devrakonda’s film has already made over Rs 84 Lakh at the Telugu box office in advance bookings.
Liger is also projected to generate over Rs 28 lakh in advance booking receipts from Tamil Nadu. The projected advance booking collection for the Hindi belt is Rs 4 lakh. According to the experts 15% of shows in Hyderabad are already sold out, and many more will follow suit. Meanwhile, Liger director Puri Jagnanath predicts that the film starring Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday will gross at least Rs 200 crore in its first few days.
Liger, starring Vijay Deverakonda and produced by Dharma Productions and Puri Connects, has a budget of Rs 100 crore. The film lasts 2 hours and 20 minutes, with the first half lasting 1 hour 15 minutes and the second half lasting 1 hour 5 minutes.
